STEP BY STEP APPROACH TO MAKING PAYMENTS ON THE CBN REMITA PLATFORM

1. login to www.remita.net

Open a browser (e.g. Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome) and type “www.remita.net” on the address bar.

2. Click on "Pay Remita Billers" or "Pay a Biller"

3. Fill in your payment information as follows:

a. Who do you want to pay?

  • ANS: Federal Psychiatric Hospital, Benin City

b. Name of Service?

  • ANS: Select the service you are paying for from the dropdown list/menu.

c. Amount to Pay?

  • ANS: Fill in the amount specified by the service provider.

d. Description?

  • ANS: Fill in the details of the service you are paying for

e. GIFMIS CODE?

  • ANS: 0521027012

f. Payers Full Name?

  • ANS: Fill in the full name of the payer

g. Payers Telephone Number?

  • ANS: Fill in an active Phone number of the payer

h. Payers Email (Optional)?

  • ANS: Fill in an active email of the payer.

4. Provide answer to the CAPTCHA

To confirm your transaction, you need to key in the characters in the image into the box below it.

5. Click on Proceed to payment

6. A REMITA RETRIEVAL REFERENCE (RRR) would have been generated.

7. Copy the RRR generated and proceed to any commercial bank for payment or continue with 8 below.

8. Proceed to "How do you want to pay" and select your preferred online banking payment method.

9. Click on Submit.

10. Save and Print Payment receipt generated online.
