Pharmacists of Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital,

The Pharmacists of Federal Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Benin City represented by the head of Pharmacy Department, Pharm. M. Ibhawoh, Pharm. W. Edefo, Pharm. Isibor O. Isibor, Pharm. C. Uanseoje, and Pharm. Z. Nwokedi have honored the Chairman of Board of Management of the hospital. The event which took place on Wednesday 14th April, 2021 during the 54th Meeting of the Hospital Board of Management was attended by the Board Chairman, Pharm. Haliru Lawal; Dr. Imafidon O. Agbonile, Medical Director; Princess Oriri Akenzua, Board’s Secretary; Dr. Ikpeme Offiong, Board Member; and Mrs. Helen Oludare, Board Member.

Pharm. Ibhawoh who spoke on behalf of the Pharmacists, described the Chairman’s achievement as an upliftment of the Pharmacists profession, adding that he is a consistent beacon of call and justice. She stated that it was in appreciation and recognition of that fact, that they decided to honour him by presenting him among others with an emblem of the ‘Nigeria’s Coat of Arm’ as a distinguished Pharmacist of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Speaking during the occasion, Pharm. H. Lawal thanked the Pharmacists for their unflinching support and solidarity describing Pharm. Ibhawoh as a calm, composed and smart personality. According to him, “I thank you very much for your unflinching support and solidarity. Let me say that, the success of the Pharmacy department is what I have expected right from the time this lady (Pharm. Ibhawoh) assumed this responsibility. From my little interaction with her, I was able to discover that she is clam, compose, but extremely smart and intelligent. I am happy with what I am seeing today; there is a culture of teamwork, cooperation and respect in Pharmacy department”. He thereafter admonished them to continue to uphold the integrity of the Pharmacists profession and to be descent while managing human and material resources.

The Medical Director, on behalf of the Board, also appreciated the Pharmacists for honoring the Board Chairman and described their benevolent act as thought worthy. He therefore prayed for more reasons to be thankful to God and man.
